Ok… I think I’ve already figured this whole thing out!
I hit me while I was staring down into the largest mouth I’d ever seen on a largemouth bass (ridiculously huge). As I pulled the mutated, scaley beast from the water, it hit me like a true calling. I don’t know how I missed this for so long, but I was created with a clear destiny… Bassmaster Elite! I was uniquely crafted to not only participate in, but win the world championships of bass fishing.
As I released the unique water breather back into the wild I scratched my head and pondered. What if I simply stated for myself a big, crazy goal like this. What might it look like if my longtime fishing buddy and I took the next couple of years to really got serious about this and made it happen.
I could see it all so very clearly, two really big RVs (the ones with the crazy slide-outs), two sweet bass boats, 8 lovely ladies, and two very determined and driven young(ish) men and their newfound goal. This is it… this is my Everest… this will give me a new lease on life… and you gotta admit it would make for one hell of a reality TV series.
NOBODY STEAL THIS IDEA!!!
Those of you who really know me realize that this could actually become a serious thing… and that I have actually considered the validity of this as an option. The big question that comes out of this for me is this: Is coming up with one BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) after another the same thing as living life with a purpose?
